Stream Ecology
Stream ecology is the study of the interaction of organisms within an ecosystem. This branch of biology also investigates the interactions between the organisms and the environment in which they live. Within the course students will be expected to participate in outdoor activities in which we will be collecting data on the local waterways. The class may also participate in the Allegheny River Clean-up and an ongoing stream study through Penn State.
